Pashanbheda’s anti-urolithiasis activity is mediated through calcium oxalate crystal inhibition, diuretic, and antioxidant effect. Pedalium murex (Gokshura) promotes the flow of urine, soothes the membrane of the urinary tract, and inhibits oxalate formation. Gokshura contains Potassium Nitrate in rich quantity which increases urine alkalinity. This alkaline environment also further inhibits oxalate formation in the bladder. Vitamin B6 supports normal urine output and proper urinary bladder function.
